Roles and Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from databases.
- Analyze business trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
- Create and monitor KPIs to measure business performance.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
- Automate regular reports and improve reporting processes.
- Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Present analytical findings and insights to management teams.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, and data models.
Required Technical Skills
- SQL: Joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregate functions, and window functions.
- Power BI: Dashboard development, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and report publishing.
- Microsoft Excel: Pivot tables, lookup functions, charts, and formulas.
- Data Visualization: Ability to present complex data through clear and meaningful visualizations.
- Data Analysis: Trend analysis, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and root-cause analysis.
- Data Modeling: Understanding of fact tables, dimension tables, and star schema.
- ETL Processes: Basic understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Communication: Ability to explain analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
