Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and key business performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Create automated reports to improve reporting efficiency.
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Prepare business performance reports and analytical presentations.
- Collaborate with business, finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Required Technical Skills
- SQL: Joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregate functions, window functions, and data extraction.
- Power BI: Interactive dashboards, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and visualization.
- Microsoft Excel: PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, charts, formulas, and data cleaning.
- Data Visualization: Ability to present complex data through clear charts and dashboards.
- Data Analysis: Trend analysis, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and root-cause analysis.
- ETL and Data Warehousing: Basic understanding of data extraction, transformation, loading, and warehouse concepts.
- Statistics: Basic descriptive statistics, averages, percentages, distributions, and correlation.
- Communication: Ability to explain findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI platforms.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of business processes and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and access controls.
