Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from databases.
- Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain data models to support effective reporting and analysis.
- Prepare regular, ad hoc, and management reports to support business operations.
- Identify business performance gaps and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data definitions, and business logic.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, data modeling, and analytical reporting.
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and convert findings into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DAX and Power Query.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
