Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop, maintain, and manage interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Create and maintain BI reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into meaningful reports and actionable insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
- Identify business trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and integrity across reporting systems.
- Build automated reports and streamline recurring reporting processes.
- Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and management teams.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and dashboards.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
- Experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting.
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of DAX and Power Query for Power BI reporting.
- Understanding of data modeling, data cleaning, and data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and business performance metrics.
- Understanding of KPIs, business processes, and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
