Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Deploy and manage applications using containers and orchestration platforms.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and configuration-management tools.
Manage source control, branching, and release processes.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and operational readiness.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability requirements.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Good knowledge of Git and version-control workflows.
Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch.
Understanding of networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and security concepts.
Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and least-privilege practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Helm and Kubernetes administration.
Experience with Ansible or similar configuration-management tools.
Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
Experience implementing highly available and scalable production environments.
Familiarity with security scanning and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with databases, message queues, and distributed systems.
Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
