DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage version control systems such as Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production-related issues.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Manage Linux/Unix servers, networking, and system administration activities.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure and resource utilization to improve performance and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting (Bash).
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, access management, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab, and version control systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
