Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.
- Implement security and access-control best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Support application releases, upgrades, migrations, and production deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version-control practices.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes administration.
- Knowledge of security and DevSecOps practices.
