Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Implement business logic and application functionalities.
- Integrate applications with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Perform unit testing and support application testing.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application deployment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
- Understanding of Java 8+ features.
- Knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with Hibernate and JPA.
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of JDBC and database connectivity.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of exception handling, collections, and multithreading.
- Basic knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
