Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud platforms.
- Develop data models and establish relationships between datasets.
- Write and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration using Power Query.
- Create meaningful visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Optimize report performance and improve dashboard loading speed.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical reports.
- Publish, schedule, and manage reports using Power BI Service.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Good knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Strong understanding of Power Query and M language.
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying.
- Experience in data modeling and relationship management.
- Knowledge of interactive dashboards and data visualization.
- Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting.
- Experience connecting multiple data sources.
- Knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
