Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.
- Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Validate data using SQL queries where required.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a quality perspective.
- Perform end-to-end testing across different application workflows.
- Conduct defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
- Maintain test documentation and provide testing status reports.
- Support UAT and production validation activities.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing.
- Experience creating and executing test cases.
- Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-management tools.
- Basic to strong SQL skills.
- Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed applications.

Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, design and execute test scenarios across functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end workflows, and validate APIs and data using Postman and SQL. Document and track defects, collaborate with stakeholders, support UAT and production validation, report testing status, and help improve QA processes and automation.
Requirements
Requires knowledge of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, defect life cycles, and hands-on manual testing, including creating and executing test cases. Also requires familiarity with defect-management tools, SQL, API testing, analytical problem-solving, communication, and documentation; automation, programming, CI/CD, Agile, performance testing, and web or mobile testing are preferred.
