Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test plans.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Validate application functionality across different environments and platforms.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and testing reports.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Identify potential risks and gaps in application quality.
- Support release validation and production verification activities.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience writing clear and effective test cases.
- Strong defect identification and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-management tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements
