Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Validate application functionality against business requirements.
- Perform API testing to validate backend services and integrations.
- Execute database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy discussions.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure application quality.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare test execution reports.
- Ensure software applications meet quality standards before production release.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in manual testing and test case design.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA or other defect-tracking tools.
- Knowledge of SQL queries for database testing.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
