Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
- Debug software issues and troubleshoot application errors.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and product teams.
- Use version control systems to manage source code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow software engineering best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or C#
- Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Django, Flask, React, or Node.js, depending on the role
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Version control: Git and GitHub
- APIs: REST API development and integration
- Operating systems: Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Software development: Data structures, algorithms, OOP concepts, debugging, and testing
- Tools: VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or similar development tools
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience developing academic, personal, or professional software projects.
