Title: Portfolio Scrum Master, Expert
Location : Toronto, ON - 4 days / week
Contract: 12 months to start with opportunity for extension
Interview: 2 rounds virtual (Final interview is a panel with product team)

Portfolio Scrum Master / Agile Program Manager hybrid, supporting a Data & AI portfolio where multiple Agile teams are sprinting underneath a larger portfolio structure.
The ideal person should have:
- Portfolio-level Scrum Master experience
- Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams/workstreams
- Strong traditional program management background
- Ability to operate at the portfolio/program level, not just facilitate individual team ceremonies
- Experience with Data, AI, technology, or large transformation portfolios
- Dependency management across teams
- Risk/issue management
- Roadmap and milestone tracking
- Executive/stakeholder communication
- Agile planning and governance
- Experience working in environments where teams are delivering through sprints within a larger program/portfolio
Job Description:
Portfolio Scrum Master
This role will be working within an AI portfolio within Commercial Banking. Relevant expertise in financial institutions, commercial banking and AI/Machine Learning an asset.

- Facilitate collaboration across multiple agile teams
- Partner with the Portfolio Leader to create and maintain Portfolio level delivery roadmaps
- Impediment removal facilitation
- Escalate impediments, manage risks and dependencies between teams
Quality
- Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate leadership retrospectives to drive continuous improvement (portfolio level)
- Work with the agile coach to identify and improve portfolio level maturity
- Maintain portfolio level roadmap that consolidates team continuous improvement roadmaps
- KPI and metrics reporting
- Report consolidated portfolio level metrics for all agile teams in the portfolio
Sustainability
- Governance
- Facilitate Portfolio ceremonies and processes
- Lead execution on ceremonies like Scrum of Scrums sessions
- Risk Management
- Proactively identify risks, issues, obstacles and raise them as soon as possible to the Portfolio Leaders

Responsibilities
Coordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams in a Commercial Banking AI portfolio, maintaining consolidated roadmaps and facilitating portfolio ceremonies. Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, impediments, continuous improvement, and portfolio-level metrics while communicating with portfolio leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
