Job Type: Full-Time

About SpeedStaff

SpeedStaff isn’t your typical recruitment agency - we’re a high-octane talent partner on a rocket ship. We specialize in connecting top-tier professionals with healthcare, technology, and industrial organizations across North America. Over the last three years, we’ve quadrupled in size, and we’re just getting started.

We maintain a fun, high-energy startup culture built around one core principle: Get Shit Done.

We work hard, celebrate wins, skip the corporate bureaucracy, and build long-term relationships. If you’re looking for a quiet desk job to blend into the background, this isn't for you. If you want to build a serious career, learn directly from industry leaders, and get paid for your drive, keep reading.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a hungry, relentless Business Development Representative based in our Mississauga, ON office. In this role, you won't just be making calls - you’ll work side-by-side with our Founder, receiving direct mentorship to master elite sales and recruitment strategies that usually take years to acquire.

You will be the tip of the spear for our growth: building new client relationships, hitting the field for networking events, and stepping in to recruit top talent when demand surges. This high-visibility role is structured for rapid internal progression into an Account Manager position as we continue to scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

KPI's: Making 50-100 cold calls per day along with automation tools.
Drive Business Growth: Hunt and qualify new B2B opportunities across healthcare, tech, and industrial sectors using a multi-channel approach - cold calling, targeted emailing, LinkedIn social selling, and creative outreach.
Get Out in the Field: Build relationships face-to-face by representing SpeedStaff at industry conferences, local networking meetups, golf events, and client meetings.
Recruiting: When client demand peaks, roll up your sleeves to source, screen, and place high-quality candidates, learning the full recruitment delivery cycle.
Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain strong sales hygiene by tracking pipeline, activity, and forecasts in our CRM systems.
Collaborate: Work closely with delivery teams and the Founder to ensure client hiring needs are understood and delivered with speed and quality.

What We’re Looking For

Proven Sales Drive: Background in sales and business development with a structured process for building a pipeline.
Relentless High Energy Work Ethic: A high-energy, grit-first mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven startup environment.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM software, digital sales tools, and modern prospecting methods.
Adaptable & Collaborative: Ability to juggle multiple deals, step into recruiting when needed, and collaborate across teams.
Education & Experience: Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent hands-on sales experience. B2B experience in staffing, recruitment, or professional services is a huge plus.

Why SpeedStaff?

Unmatched Mentorship: Learn B2B sales and talent acquisition directly from the Founder.
Rapid Career Growth: Clear pathway to step into an Account Manager role quickly. (We promoted within a year with our last hire)
Competitive Pay: $48K–$60K base salary with uncapped commission.
High Growth Start-Up Culture: Work hard, play hard environment with golf outings, networking events, and team wins celebrated. (We had our team drive Lamborghinis in 2026)
