Compensation: $40,000 – $60,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Job Type: Full-Time

About SpeedStaff

SpeedStaff isn’t your average recruitment agency - we’re a fast-moving, high-octane talent partner on a rocket ship. We specialize in connecting top-tier talent with leading healthcare, technology, and industrial organizations across North America. Over the last three years, we’ve quadrupled in size, and we’re just getting started.

We operate with a fun, high-energy startup culture built on one primary mission: Getting IT DONE. We work hard, celebrate big wins, ditch corporate bureaucracy, and build long-term relationships. If you want a slow-paced desk job to blend into the background, this isn’t for you. If you want to learn elite skills, control your income, and grow rapidly, read on.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a high-energy, ambitious Recruiter to join our team in Mississauga. This role features a 80/20 hybrid focus - 80% high-volume candidate recruiting and 20% client development crossover (20% business development/sales) - giving you a 360-degree view of the staffing industry.

You won't be doing this alone: you’ll work side-by-side with our President, receiving direct mentorship to master elite sourcing, candidate persuasion, and sales strategies. As you succeed, you’ll have a clear, fast track to specialize and step into a dedicated Lead Recruiter or Account Manager role.

What You’ll Be Doing

Source & Hunt Talent (80% Focus): Use advanced sourcing strategies, cold calling, social selling, and modern ATS/CRM search techniques to hunt, engage, and recruit top passive talent in tech, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
Manage End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the candidate journey from first touch to interview prep, offer negotiation, and successful onboarding.
Drive Business Opportunities (20% Focus): Learn the B2B side by prospecting new leads, conducting outreach, and assisting with client growth strategy alongside senior leadership.
Learn Directly from Leadership: Shadow the Founder to pick up advanced deal-closing, negotiation, and account growth tactics.
Data & Pipeline Management: Keep modern ATS and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, etc.) organized and up-to-date.
Build Long-Term Networks: Maintain strong candidate relationships and participate in industry networking events and team outings.

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on Recruitment/Sales Drive: Prior experience in recruitment, agency staffing, sales, or HR sourcing, with a proven track record of hitting targets.
Relentless Work Ethic: Grit, curiosity, and a "GET IT DONE" attitude suited for a fast-paced agency startup.
Top-Tier Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - you know how to build instant rapport, assess talent, and articulate value.
Tech & Process Savvy: Hands-on experience with modern ATS systems, CRMs, and proactive sourcing methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, cold outreach).
Adaptable & Coachable: Eager to take feedback directly from the Founder, implement new strategies quickly, and continuously sharpen your skill set.

Why SpeedStaff?

Direct Founder Mentorship: Master recruitment and sales directly from an industry builder.
Rapid Career Progression: Fast-track your path into a specialized Lead Recruiter or Account Manager position as we scale. Our last one became an Account Manager in one year.
Competitive Earnings Growth: We give raises, and we give them quickly on performance
High-Octane Startup Culture: Outings, team celebrations, fast execution, and zero corporate red tape. Our team's last adventiure was driving Lamborghini
