Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, test, maintain, and repair motor vehicles and their mechanical, electrical, and automotive systems. Estimate repair costs, advise customers, document work, and coach apprentices.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, 1 to less than 2 years of experience, and Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dusty, noisy garage environment are also specified.
