We’re based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 15 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites. Spicers Canada is part of Central National Gottesman Inc. (CNG), a global seller and distributor of paper, pulp, packaging materials, metals and wood products.
We are currently looking for a full-time Installation and Parts Coordinator located in Vaughan, ON reporting to the National Director of Service and Installation.
Your Challenge
Installation Coordination
- Assist in planning and coordinating new equipment installations from order confirmation through completion.
- Communicate with customers to confirm installation requirements, site readiness, delivery details, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with technicians, sales, logistics, and other internal departments to ensure installations are properly planned.
- Track installation progress and follow up on outstanding items or issues.
- Assist with coordinating technician schedules and customer appointments.
- Maintain accurate installation records and documentation.
- Follow up with customers after installation to ensure outstanding issues are addressed.
- Update service/CRM systems with relevant information.
Parts Coordination & Support
- Order parts as required for installations, repairs, and service requirements.
- Monitor parts availability, backorders, and expected delivery dates.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal parts teams to ensure parts arrive when needed.
- Assist technicians in identifying and sourcing required parts and billing service activity.
- Help ensure technicians have the information, parts, and resources required to complete their work.
- Escalate technical, scheduling, or customer issues to the appropriate person when required.
- Assist with follow-up on incomplete installations, service issues, and outstanding parts.
Working Conditions
- Able to work on a computer for numerous hours which may result in strain on wrists, eyes, back, etc.;
- Ability to work in a busy, open area office;
- May have to spend long hours in concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;
- This position faces a number of deadlines which may cause stress; and
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
