Original job description

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and Java to design and deliver high-quality web applications for our clients. You will be a subject-matter expert thanks to your deep understanding of frameworks and the entire development process. You will work closely with talented engineers, developers designers, and QA analysts, contributing to innovative web and mobile projects at Spiria.

At Spiria, senior developers are trusted technical voices, working on meaningful client projects, influencing how solutions are built, and supporting the growth of other developers through mentorship and collaboration.

\nAs a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Spiria, you will be required to:

Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and Java.
Own features end-to-end, from technical design through production.
Contribute to architectural discussions and help guide solutions that are maintainable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
Review code and mentor other developers through feedback, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA, and product stakeholders.

The keys to your success:

Over 8 years of experience in delivering production web applications.
Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript, combined with solid Java backend experience.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Comfort writing unit tests and maintaining high code quality.
Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day software development.
Ability to reason about architecture and make pragmatic technical decisions.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Employment details:

Flexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, or in-person), because what truly matters is not where you are, but what you do.
Salary range: $95 000-120 000, based on a 37.5-hour workweek.

What we offer:

Vacation bank of 3 weeks per year.
5 additional fixed days off during the winter holidays.
Flexible personal days to handle life’s ups and downs.
Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) and RRSP with employer contributions.
Group insurance with broad coverage.
Telemedicine and Employee Assistance Program via Dialogue.
Paid training, certification and association expenses.
Spiri-Flex reimbursements of $300 per year for health, ergonomics, and connectivity-related expenses.

Work Environment

We believe work-life balance is essential. We make this possible through a flexible work organization and a personalized working style. Whether you’re at the office or in your location of choice, what matters most is the impact of your work, not where you're doing it from.

About Us

At Spiria, we’re a team of over 150 professionals across Canada. For more than 20 years, we’ve been building custom software solutions driven by a strong commitment to code quality, technological excellence, collaborative creation, and customer satisfaction.

At Spiria, we believe diversity is a major strength. We therefore adhere to the principle of employment equity and encourage applications from women, visible minorities, Indigenous people, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, and other marginalized communities.
