Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate role is a part-time, on-site position based in Vancouver, BC. In this role, the associate supports customers on the sales floor by greeting and engaging them, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products across apparel, footwear, and sports equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product displays, restocking merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing. The associate also assists with seasonal promotions, supports inventory tasks such as tagging and pricing, and contributes to a positive team environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy an active lifestyle, value customer interaction, and can work flexible hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, identify needs, and provide product recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, teammates, and leadership.
• Basic point-of-sale, cash handling, and transaction processing skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to maintain store standards through merchandising, stock replenishment, and a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Interest in sports, outdoor activities, and fashion, with the ability to learn product features and benefits quickly.
• Reliability and time-management skills, including the ability to work flexible shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform light physical tasks as part of daily store operations.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is an asset, but candidates with a strong customer focus and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
