Original job description
We are currently accepting applications for the permanent, full time position of Propane Sales & Service Associate for Spring Valley Building Centre.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing product information & excellent customer service
- Actively contact customers and prospects to market propane
- Follow all guidelines and regulations for dispensing and/or hauling propane
- Fill propane tanks ranging from 20lbs to 100lbs, on site to be delivered
- Maintain logs with shipments, complete daily invoices & reports
- Perform visual inspection of propane equipment
- Comply with road rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Load, transport and unload propane tanks to various locations across the Island
- Report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles
- Additional duties as assigned.
Training and experience:
- Propane Dispensing License
- Propane Hauling License
- Please note, Spring Valley Building Centre is willing to train and provide licensing opportunities
Skills, Knowledge and Key Abilities:
- Multitasking and organizational skills
- Customer Service oriented
- Handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
