Role: Backend Java Developer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid
- 6+ Yrs experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices.
- Experienced in solutions, analysis, & development with async programming: Java/Spring Boot, JSP, J2EE, Rest/Soap web services, artifactory, Git, Linux, PLAY/AKKA, Git, Microservice arch, cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP - Azure preferred) in Kubernetes, Helm Charts, CI/CD pipelines; legacy & cloud DBs (SQL, Cassandra, Redis, Cosmos); familiar with Oauth & OIDC auth flows.
- Experience working with distributed systems
- Experience in designing and developing asynchronous REST API's
- Understanding and knowledge with utilizing/implementing operational tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk.
- Excellent understanding on HTTP request methods and response status codes and when to apply them
- Have worked with Java8+ and have an excellent understanding of streams, lambdas, and the concurrency API’s
