Prompt Engineer
6+ Months
Toronto, ON – Hybrid
Mandatory: Prompt Engineering, Gen AI, RAG
Job Description:
- 5+ years of experience in Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, delivering enterprise AI applications using LLMs and foundation models.
- Strong expertise in designing, testing, and optimizing prompts, prompt chains, and orchestration workflows to improve accuracy, relevance, safety, and user experience.
- Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval optimization, and knowledge grounding.
- Experience developing Agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool/function calling, planning, reasoning workflows, and autonomous task execution.
- Proficient in designing and implementing LLM evaluation (Evals) frameworks, covering quality assessment, hallucination detection, prompt benchmarking, safety testing, and performance monitoring.
