SAP HANA DBA role to support .

8-12 Years of Experience

• Architect and manage complex SAP HANA system architectures, including Multi-Tenant, scale-in/scale-out landscapes, and dynamic tiering.
• Experience in core SAP R/3 environments with primary responsibilities in support, installation, administration, performance tuning, transport management, and implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP NetWeaver, integration tools, and upgrade activities.
• Manage advanced database scaling, including HANA table partitioning (hash, range, round-robin), table redistribution, memory management, and delta merge optimization.
• Lead planning, sizing, setup, implementation, and lifecycle management of SAP products, HANA database installations, upgrades, and system refreshes.
• Oversee SAP HANA plugin installations, database driver configurations, and connectivity across the SAP landscape.
• Execute SAP system upgrades, Support Package Stacks (SPS), and OS/DB migrations using SUM/DMO.
• Drive advanced SAP HANA performance tuning, optimization, and workload management.
• Monitor database performance, provide operational support, and implement performance improvements using HANA Studio, DBA Cockpit, and OS-level tools.
• Conduct proactive system health checks, perform HANA parameter tuning, and troubleshoot critical database startup, shutdown, and memory-related issues.
• Design, implement, and validate enterprise-grade High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Architect and manage data replication technologies, including SLT, SDA, and SDI.
• Manage HANA database backup strategies using enterprise backup solutions and perform database restores, Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR), and system copies.
• Maintain HANA security and user administration, including custom roles, privileges, and analytic privileges.
• Implement audit policies, encryption (at rest and in transit), and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, and process optimization for Basis and DBA activities.
• Perform audit reviews, vulnerability patching, and compliance assessments.
• Conduct SAP HANA sizing for new implementations, hardware migrations, and cloud transitions.
• Strong experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management aligned with ITIL practices.
• Manage critical P1/P2 production incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Demonstrate effective communication skills for stakeholder management and cross-functional project delivery.
• Provide technical governance by developing and reviewing architecture documents, technical blueprints, knowledge articles (KBAs), and handover documentation for clients and internal teams.
