ABOUT THE ROLE

SQM Project Delivery Inc. is seeking an experienced Work Face Planner for a

the rotation schedule will be confirmed at offer stage.

You will be embedded in the client's construction execution team, reporting

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work face planning is where a project either gains or loses its schedule.

This role exists to make sure that when a crew walks to the work front,

everything they need is already there - drawings approved, materials issued,

permits in hand, equipment staged. You will own the discipline that turns

engineering deliverables into executable field work, and you will see the

Readiness Reviews

  • Confirm materials are available and issued
  • Confirm tools, equipment and temporary facilities are ready
  • Verify permits, isolations and safety requirements are in place

Field Coordination

  • Partner with Superintendents, General Supervisors, QA/QC, Engineering

and Procurement

  • Identify constraints affecting productivity
  • Drive removal of work-front barriers

  • Track work package completion and productivity
  • Forecast future work-face readiness
  • Align execution plans with the master schedule

Safety & Quality

  • Ensure quality hold points and inspections are identified
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes
  • Promote safe, efficient construction execution
