SSENSE has garnered critical acclaim as both an e-commerce engine and a producer of cultural content, generating an average of 100 million monthly page views.

About the Role:

As an Analyst, Revenue Management & Commercial Growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial health by bridging raw data and commercial strategy. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will deliver actionable insights and comprehensive profitability analyses across key revenue levers to directly impact top-line growth and bottom-line margins. Working under the guidance of the Revenue Management Manager, you will serve as a critical thought partner and collaborative bridge across the Growth, Merchandising, Technology, and Analytics teams. Ultimately, your data-driven recommendations will enable leadership to make informed, strategic go-to-market decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle.

What You Will Do:

Monitor & Track Performance: Evaluate overall business performance daily against targets, ensuring complete alignment with product lifecycles, inventory health, and bottom-line profitability.
Analyze & Extract Data: Extract complex data from internal databases, identify key trends, and summarize actionable insights to support strategic business decision-making.
Build Dashboards & Reports: Establish and maintain dynamic performance reports and automated dashboards to quickly identify operational gaps and accelerate time-to-insight for leadership.
Optimize Promotional Strategies: Support the execution and tracking of coupon and promotional activities, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with the promotional roadmap.
Manage Revenue Leakage: Monitor returns and shipping revenue against targets, and assist in preparing monthly updates regarding any deviations to the plan.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across departments (Merchandising, Growth, Technology, Marketing) to seamlessly execute revenue and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, commercial strategy, revenue management, or financial planning.
Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets). Ability to design dynamic data models using advanced functions or scripting (VBA/Apps Script) to automate reports is preferred.
Proficient in writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries from scratch (including multi-table joins, aggregations, and refactoring) to extract and transform data, with proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines across AWS and Google BigQuery cloud environments.
Professional working fluency in both English and French, with the ability to manage communication and lead formal meetings in either language.

What Sets You Apart:

Commercial Acumen: You possess a strong business sense and a natural ability to connect abstract data points to concrete commercial outcomes and profitability.
Strategic Collaboration: You excel at acting as a collaborative bridge between diverse, cross-functional teams.
Data Storytelling: You can transform complex data narratives into clear, visual dashboards that executive leadership can easily digest and adopt for strategic decision-making.
Analytical Problem Solving: You proficiently apply structured analytical methods (e.g., 5 Whys, Pareto analysis) to solve defined business problems and execute the problem-solving cycle accurately.

Why Join Us:
