SSP Canada operates several restaurants throughout Ottawa International Airport include: Starbucks, Cork & Well, Darcy McGees, Cafe En Vin, Jetbox, Tim Horton's, Bridgehead Coffee, Big Rig Brewing, and Urban Crave.

The Senior Multi-Unit Restaurant Manager has responsibilities for all areas and aspects of multi-unit restaurant operations within an airport. Managerial tasks to include, but not limited to, training and retaining an excellent staff, delivering outstanding hospitality, food cost and labor cost, shared P&L responsibility, running shifts, maintaining sanitation, safety and cleanliness, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. The team of Restaurant General Managers reports directly to this position. This position reports to on-site Director of Operations.

Skills And Requirements

Minimum 7 years of Progressive Restaurant Management Experience
Culinary Management preferred
Minimum of 1 year Multi-unit Restaurant Management with General Manager direct reports required
Minimum of 3 years full-service restaurant with bar General Manager level experience required
P&L expert level with ability to teach and coach General Managers
Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook required

Responsibilities

Oversee multi-unit, multi-brand restaurant operations at Ottawa International Airport, including staffing, hospitality, food and labor costs, shared P&L performance, shift execution, sanitation, safety, and compliance with company policies. Lead and coach the Restaurant General Managers, who report directly to this position.

Requirements

Requires at least seven years of progressive restaurant management experience, including one year of multi-unit management with General Manager direct reports and three years of full-service restaurant experience at the General Manager level. Culinary management is preferred; expert-level P&L knowledge and the ability to coach General Managers, proficiency with Excel, Teams, and Outlook, legal authorization to work in Canada, and eligibility for airport security clearance are required.
