SSRG is currently hiring a full-time Static Security Guard in Abbotsford, BC.
This is a full time position from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. We are looking for a reliable and professional individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and security.

Responsibilities
- Responding to client requests and onsite emergencies
- Face-to-face customer service to clients, public, and those working inside the building
- Ensuring the security of all personnel, visitors, and the public
- Inspecting & patrolling premises
- Monitoring property access
- Investigating and reporting suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforcing client informed policies
- Communicating with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
- Responding to alarms
- A Valid BC Security Licence
- Relevant experience in the security industry
- Ability to stand for long periods of time & complete routine patrols
- Excellent customer service skills & professional deportment
- Strong commitment to safety & security
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Additional certifications are assets: AST, First Aid Certification, etc.

Responsibilities
Respond to client requests, emergencies, and alarms while providing face-to-face customer service and protecting personnel, visitors, and the public. Inspect and patrol the premises, monitor access, investigate and report suspicious activity or security incidents, enforce client policies, and coordinate with emergency services.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid British Columbia security licence and have relevant security industry experience. They must be able to stand for extended periods and conduct routine patrols, with strong customer service, communication, reporting, and safety skills; additional certifications such as AST or First Aid are assets.
