Administrative Assistant

Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Mine & Mill Operations. This role is a full time, Max Term position until February 2028, reporting to the Senior Office & Payroll Administrator and will be based out of the Touquoy Mine site in Moose River, NS.

The Opportunity

Execute daily office operations including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and phone management.
Assist Accounts Payable with invoice tracking and enter purchase requisitions using Sage 300 software.
Manage office supplies, coordinate supervisor shift records, and handle on-site and off-site pick-ups and deliveries.
Support the scheduling and delivery of site orientations for new employees, contractors, and suppliers.
Maintain accurate departmental documents and records in strict accordance with government legislation and company policies.
Uphold a strict safety culture by following all regulations, maintaining equipment, completing safety training, and reporting incidents.
Foster a positive, professional work environment aligned with SBM values through clear communication and cross-team collaboratio

Our Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following

Two years of administrative assistant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is desired
Experience in mining, construction, oil and gas, or a similar industry is considered an asset but not required.
