The Digital Project Manager I will support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of digital health, technology-enabled, and AI-supported initiatives within the Digital Project Management Office. This role will support project documentation, stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, status reporting, issue tracking, and follow-up activities to help ensure projects are delivered in alignment with organizational priorities, timelines, privacy and security requirements, and expected outcomes. The position will work collaboratively with project leads, operational teams, clinical stakeholders, and enabling teams across Unity Health Toronto.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain Project Coordination, Governance, and Administration
- Maintain project plans, schedules, workback plans, RAID logs, decision logs, action trackers, and other core project documentation.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, minutes, project materials, and follow-up to support organized and effective project execution.
- Track scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions to support timely escalation and follow-through.
- Support project governance by preparing status updates, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring project information is current and accessible.
Support Digital Solution Implementation and Adoption
- Assist with implementation readiness activities, including current-state documentation, workflow mapping, business requirements, stakeholder input, and implementation planning.
- Collect and organize project data, stakeholder feedback, lessons learned, and leading practices to inform recommendations and continuous improvement.
- Work with project leads and enabling teams to identify implementation risks, operational impacts, and change considerations requiring follow-up.
- Work within established project governance, timelines, budgets, standards, and organizational policies.
Coordinate Project Teams and Stakeholders
- Coordinate activities across project teams, operational leaders, clinical stakeholders, technology partners, and enabling teams.
- Support effective stakeholder engagement by preparing materials, documenting feedback, tracking decisions, and following up on assigned actions.
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive project environment grounded in trust, accountability, and shared outcomes.
Support Monitoring, Reporting, and Quality Improvement
- Prepare project status updates, dashboards, briefing materials, and reports for project leads, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, benefits, and action items to support effective decision-making and delivery.
- Support quality improvement and performance measurement activities, including the collection and organization of project metrics and lessons learned.
Departmental And Other Responsibilities
- Participate in project meetings, committees, working groups, and corporate initiatives as required.
- Build respectful and collaborative working relationships with peers, leaders, clinicians, operational teams, and external partners.
- Maintain awareness of current and emerging digital health, AI, Microsoft 365, collaboration, and project management practices relevant to the role.

Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a university or community college is required.
- Completion of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards the certification is preferred.
- One (1) to two (2) years of project management experience in a health care environment is an asset.
- Some experience in facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information and ideas in a manner that is easily understood by others.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project or equivalent project planning tools, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, digital health solutions, or Microsoft Copilot is an asset.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.

- Very good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex, or ambiguous.
