Are you a strategic Human Resources leader who has successfully partnered with operational leadership in manufacturing environments to drive organizational performance, strengthen workplace culture, and develop high-performing teams?

Staff Plus is proud to partner with a respected and growing manufacturing organization in the Halton Region in the search for an accomplished Human Resources Manager. Reporting into senior HR leadership, this role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing leadership across employee relations, workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent initiatives, and HR operations.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional who combines strong business acumen with a hands-on approach to people leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, influencing key business decisions, navigating complex workforce challenges, and ensuring HR strategies align with the organization's long-term growth objectives.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Lead and Develop the HR Function

Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to a team of HR professionals
Establish priorities, drive accountability, and elevate service delivery across the organization
Foster a high-performing and collaborative HR culture

Serve as a Trusted Business Partner

Partner closely with senior leaders and operations teams
Anticipate workforce needs and provide strategic HR guidance
Support organizational change, workforce planning, and talent initiatives

Navigate Complex Employee Relations Matters

Lead investigations and provide guidance on performance management, attendance, discipline, and terminations
Support leaders through difficult workplace situations while balancing business needs and risk management
Ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant decision-making

Drive Culture and Engagement

Translate employee feedback into meaningful action plans
Champion initiatives that improve engagement, communication, retention, and leadership effectiveness
Help build an environment where employees can thrive

Strengthen HR Programs and Compliance

Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation and company policies
Support compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities to modernize HR processes and improve operational effectiveness

What We're Looking For:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, complemented by a strong foundation in contemporary HR leadership practices.
CHRP designation required; CHRL preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence and strategic HR leadership.
Progressive Human Resources leadership experience with a proven track record of driving people strategies that support organizational objectives.
Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing HR teams within complex and fast-paced environments.
Direct experience supporting manufacturing operations, with a strong understanding of operational workforce dynamics and business priorities.
Proven ability to effectively support and influence both hourly and salaried employee populations across multiple organizational levels.
Deep expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
Strong business partnership experience, including advising senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and change management initiatives.
Comprehensive knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, HR compliance, and best practices, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
Exceptional judgment, executive presence, and interpersonal influence, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
