Our client is seeking an Air Systems / Pneumatics Engineer to contribute to the development, integration, certification, and support of aerospace systems.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in the field of pneumatics and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure system compliance, performance, and reliability.

What are your contributions to the team?

Act as a systems engineer and carry out pneumatics discipline activities
Assure integration and interface management of assigned systems and coordinate with internal groups & suppliers.
Define pneumatic system architecture, prepare specifications and requirements, conduct functional modeling and trade studies.
Ensure engineering requirements management, validation and verification
Manage suppliers from an engineering project and engineering technical perspective
Review and approve engineering design documents such as vendor drawings, test procedures, acceptance test procedures, qualification reports and certification documents
Document technical engineering analysis, ground, and flight test results
Prepare engineering technical reports to show compliance with the applicable certification requirements
Support the build and operation of test platforms (rigs, flight test vehicles)
Work within multi-disciplinary team to address product engineering definition or issue resolution
Prepare design change modifications and optimized solutions.
Support production and in-service teams in troubleshooting engineering systems related issues.
Ensure adherence to program schedule and milestones.
Contribute to Knowledge Domain and Bombardier Engineering System (BES).

You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
You have ideally 5-8 years of relevant technical experience in an aerospace engineering field

Notre client recherche un(e) ingénieur(e) en systèmes d’air et pneumatiques pour contribuer au développement, à l’intégration, à la certification et au soutien des systèmes aéronautiques. Le titulaire du poste agira à titre d’expert technique dans le domaine de la pneumatique et collaborera étroitement avec les équipes multidisciplinaires, les fournisseurs et les partenaires internes afin d’assurer la conformité, la performance et la fiabilité des systèmes.

Principales responsabilités

Agir à titre d’ingénieur(e) système et réaliser les activités d’ingénierie liées aux systèmes pneumatiques.
Assurer l’intégration et la gestion des interfaces des systèmes assignés et coordonner les activités avec les groupes internes et les fournisseurs.
Définir l’architecture des systèmes pneumatiques ainsi que les spécifications, exigences, études fonctionnelles et analyses comparatives requises.
Assurer la gestion des exigences d’ingénierie, leur validation et leur vérification.
Gérer les fournisseurs d’un point de vue technique et de gestion de projet d’ingénierie.
Examiner et approuver la documentation d’ingénierie, notamment les dessins fournisseurs, les procédures d’essai, les rapports de qualification et les documents de certification.
Analyser et documenter les résultats d’essais au sol et en vol.
Préparer les rapports techniques démontrant la conformité aux exigences de certification applicables.
Soutenir la mise en place et l’exploitation des plateformes d’essais, bancs d’essai et aéronefs d’essais en vol.
Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires afin de résoudre les problématiques techniques et de définir les solutions d’ingénierie appropriées.
Préparer les modifications de conception et recommander des solutions optimisées.
Soutenir les équipes de production et de soutien en service dans la résolution de problèmes liés aux systèmes.
Veiller au respect des échéanciers et des jalons du programme.
Contribuer à l’évolution des connaissances techniques et des processus d’ingénierie de l’organisation.

Qualifications requises

Formation

Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie mécanique, génie aérospatial ou dans une discipline connexe.

Expérience

De 5 à 8 années d’expérience pertinente dans un domaine de l’ingénierie aérospatiale.

Connaissances techniques

Excellente compréhension des principes d’écoulement des fluides et de thermodynamique.
Connaissance des systèmes pneumatiques et des disciplines connexes telles que l’installation de systèmes, l’avionique et la propulsion.
Familiarité avec les essais de qualification de composantes selon les normes DO-160 et MIL-STD-810.
Connaissance des processus d’assurance du développement conformément à la norme ARP4754A.
Expérience en modélisation fonctionnelle et en essais de performance des systèmes.
Connaissance des outils de conception de systèmes, des approches d’ingénierie basée sur les modèles (MBSE) ou des logiciels de simulation.
Bonne maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
