Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Damage Tolerance Analysis Engineer to support Repair Engineering activities. The role involves conducting comprehensive structural integrity assessments to ensure aircraft repairs comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Notre client recherche un(e) ingénieur(e) expérimenté(e) en analyse de tolérance aux dommages (Damage Tolerance Analysis - DTA) afin de soutenir les activités d’ingénierie de réparation. Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de réaliser des évaluations approfondies de l’intégrité structurale afin de garantir que les réparations aéronautiques respectent les exigences de sécurité et les normes réglementaires applicables.

Le candidat idéal possède une solide expertise en analyse structurale, en fatigue et mécanique de la rupture, ainsi qu’une excellente compréhension des principes d’ingénierie aérospatiale.

Principales responsabilités

Examiner et analyser les données fournies par Airbus, notamment les détails des dommages observés et les solutions de réparation proposées.
Identifier et localiser les dommages sur les dessins et plans de structure d’aéronef.
Déterminer les scénarios potentiels de propagation de fissures et évaluer leurs répercussions sur la structure.
Évaluer les effets des dommages et des réparations sur les éléments structuraux critiques, notamment les éléments structuraux importants (SSI) et les éléments structuraux principaux (PSE).
Effectuer les calculs des propriétés de section aux endroits endommagés afin de soutenir les analyses.

Qualifications et compétences requises

Formation

Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie aérospatial, en génie mécanique ou dans une discipline connexe.

Expertise technique

Excellente connaissance de la fatigue des matériaux et de la mécanique de la rupture.
Expérience démontrée en méthodologies d’analyse de tolérance aux dommages (DTA).
Connaissance des processus d’analyse structurale d’Airbus.
Expérience pratique avec des logiciels et outils d’analyse structurale.

Capacités analytiques et résolution de problèmes

Aptitude à évaluer des problématiques structurales complexes et à recommander des solutions efficaces.

Connaissances réglementaires

Bonne compréhension des exigences de certification de la FAA et de l’EASA relatives aux réparations structurales.
