About the Opportunity :

StafinGo is hiring a Senior Business Analyst on behalf of our client for a business modernization initiative focused on improving operational processes, enhancing digital service delivery, and supporting technology-driven transformation.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather and validate requirements, analyze existing processes, support solution design, and facilitate testing activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business stakeholders to identify business needs, functional requirements, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that support operational effectiveness and digital modernization.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, quality assurance teams, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, wireframes, and other visual artifacts to support solution design and stakeholder alignment.
• Prepare and support test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on approved business requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including defect tracking, issue resolution, and validation of expected outcomes.
• Monitor testing progress, maintain requirements traceability, and support the resolution of gaps between business expectations and delivered solutions.
• Support change management activities, including stakeholder communications, process documentation, training materials, and implementation readiness.
• Maintain project documentation and provide clear updates to stakeholders on requirements, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Use business analysis and project collaboration tools to manage requirements, document workflows, track activities, and support delivery teams.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 7 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in complex enterprise or public-sector environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, technology modernization, or digital service improvement initiatives.
• Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, validation, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, process improvement, and change management.
• Hands-on experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate discussions, resolve requirement gaps, and deliver high-quality documentation.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working on complex, large-scale modernization projects, ideally involving 3–6 years of relevant project experience.
• Familiarity with apprenticeship programs or other government-administered service delivery programs.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for requirements management, work-item tracking, defect management, or testing.
• Experience with wireframing and process-modelling tools.
• Professional certifications in business analysis, project management, or related disciplines.
