Compensation : $85/hr T4 – $105/hr INC

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer / Enterprise Integration Specialist to support a major technology modernization initiative in Toronto. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement secure, scalable enterprise applications and API-based integration solutions across a complex technology environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and integration solutions.
- Develop and support secure REST APIs and modernize legacy applications and services.
- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Java, Apache Camel, MuleSoft**, and API-led connectivity.
- Develop scalable integrations using JSON/XML and data transformation technologies.
- Support cloud-based solutions and integrations across Azure services and containerized environments.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, indexes, and performance solutions.
- Implement secure authentication using JWT/OAuth2.
- Perform production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, Git-based source control, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Prepare technical specifications, architecture/design documentation, data-flow diagrams, test plans, and related deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong Enterprise Integration experience.
- Advanced Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Enterprise Java, REST APIs, and JSON/XML.
- Strong experience designing and supporting MuleSoft integration flows, APIs, and reusable services.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Strong SQL and enterprise database experience.
- Experience with integration patterns including retries, monitoring, fault tolerance, and Dead Letter Queues (DLQ).
- Strong Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration specifications and architecture.
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Public sector experience.
Nice to Have :
- AWS experience, including Lambda, SQS, and S3.
- Experience integrating CRM, ERP, asset management, document management, training, or regulatory systems.
- Public sector experience
- Experience with application modernization and migration from legacy platforms to cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and API-led architecture.
