Original job description

English section of this bilingual listing.

A career in transportation is more than bridges, roads, and rail. As we plan, design, and manage projects that move people and goods from Point A to Point B, we create connections that transform our communities. Every airport, road, bridge, port, or transit project is an opportunity to make communities safer, cleaner, and more resilient. Together, we’re making an impact around the world.

If you’re looking for a career that moves, join our team of professionals who are passionate about the future of transportation.

Want to make a difference for the greater good?

At Stantec, we’re at our best when we innovate together - where public interest, creativity, and client needs meet. We’re guided daily by our imagination, ingenuity, and a deep understanding of the society around us.

We are a global network of 34,000 employees across 450 offices on 6 continents. Founded in Canada, Stantec is now the third-largest engineering firm in North America.

Here in Quebec, we’re a team of 1,600 engineers, professionals, designers, project managers, and technicians. Our 15 offices benefit from strong and committed local leadership.

The Blue Line extension of the Montreal metro is part of the city’s ecological transition vision. It’s central to its economic and environmental development. In this role, you’ll work on long-term projects with the STM (Société de transport de Montréal) for the Blue Line extension, which includes 6 km of tunnels, 5 metro stations, and 2 bus terminals.

Be part of an integrated project team working closely with our client and contribute to the 20+ year partnership between Stantec and the STM.

Join Stantec as a Construction Scheduler to manage the multidisciplinary Implementation Schedule (MEO). This is a hybrid position (project office, construction site, remote work).

Your Background

  • 10 years of experience in project planning and control during the implementation phase (MEO), ideally in fields related to infrastructure (architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, automation, etc.) and specialized industrial equipment (e.g., tracks, motorized installations, TCPE, etc.);
  • University degree in administration or engineering, or any combination of relevant experience and education in the construction field;
  • Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software;
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports or presentations;
  • Excellent French writing skills;
  • ASP safety card (required for construction site access).

Do these challenges resonate with you? Apply today or reach out to Catherine Tatta, your recruiter, on LinkedIn.

Your Keys to Success

  • Flexibility to travel to the project office (Downtown) or the construction site office (Jean Talon & St-Michel area);
  • Proficiency in TILOS and MS Project;
  • Experience with metro projects or large-scale infrastructure projects (over $50M);
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor;
  • Good communication skills.
