Your Day-to-Day at Stantec Looking to contribute to exciting building projects as part of a recognized structural engineering team? Join our team of more than 75 professionals and put your expertise to work on a wide range of projects across Québec. Based in one of our offices in Montréal, Laval, Trois-Rivières, Québec City, or Longueuil, you will collaborate with project teams, architects, and clients to design concrete, steel, and timber structures and assist in the preparation of plans and specifications.
Your Role Will Include:- Designing and drafting a variety of structural projects of varying scope and complexity;
- Performing field surveys and site measurements;
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, plans, and specifications;
- Participating in structural inspections;
- Coordinating activities with the various project stakeholders;
- Applying company procedures and standards, as well as client requirements;
- Providing technical support to colleagues, collaborators, and clients;
- Performing other related duties to support the successful delivery of projects.

Your Background- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Civil Engineering or Architecture, combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience in building structural engineering;
- Experience in structural design projects;
- Proficiency with Revit software;
- Strong command of spoken and written French (English is an asset);
- Certification in General Health and Safety on Construction Sites (ASP Construction);
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
