Here, you can apply your passion and collaborate with top environmental professionals on work that’s vital to our clients and the communities they serve.

Join a team that’s naturally committed to the environment.

Projects require environmental review and licensing and this step is becoming increasingly critical for development across Canda and around the world. We are seeking a motivated team player to lead a team of professionals while working on projects. Organizational skills and the ability to support multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced company are essential qualities. There’s no end to the scope and significance of your work, and to where it can take you at Stantec.

Your Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated, personable, and organized Team Lead (TL) for our Assessment & Permitting (A&P) discipline within our Environmental Services Business Centre. You will report directly to the Senior Team Lead and will work closely with other leadership and team leads. As a Team Lead, you will form a key part of the leadership team and will help grow our business through ongoing recruitment, retention and development of staff.

The team is based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, and while we embrace our core value that “we are better together”, we do offer flexible work solutions and hybrid work situations. As people leaders, you would be expected to spend a portion of your work week in-office.

In addition, the successful candidate will provide support to all stages of a project’s lifecycle including assessment, permitting and approval requirements, construction support, and post-construction support. Projects will include small to large-scale provincial and federal environmental assessments for the power and energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, transportation, and mining sectors.

This is a permanent full-time position in our Prairies and Territories Assessment & Permitting (A&P) Team based in one of our offices in Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Yellowknife, Edmonton, Red Deer or Calgary.

Growing your career sometimes means taking chances and moving outside of your comfort zone. It also means raising your hand for opportunities that further your technical, leadership, and client services skills. If you are interested in evolving your professional experience, apply today!
