Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Writer, Archaeology to join our growing archaeology team. This role will support a diverse range of projects across multiple service lines throughout British Columbia, with the potential to transition to a permanent, full-time position in the future. The successful candidate can be based at any of our Stantec office locations across British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities

Preparing regulatory deliverables including site forms, interim and final reporting
Managing digitally and manually collected field data
Actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE programs

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Self-motivated, has excellent technical writing skills
Experience in Cultural Resource Management, specifically reporting, an asset
Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture
Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations
Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.

Minimum 1 year of archaeological experience including the production of regulatory deliverables.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
