We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is eager to expand their knowledge through a variety of water resources projects, with a particular focus on hydraulic modelling. The successful candidate will support senior engineers and designers through calculations, hydraulic modelling, fieldwork, data analysis, reporting, and other engineering assignments in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you are interested in helping deliver a diverse range of water resources projects, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly regarded team of water resources engineers and hydraulic modelers.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university, preferably with a focus on water resources and/or environmental engineering.
Registered, or eligible for registration, with APEGA as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
A minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Proficiency with common desktop applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Strong interpersonal, time-management, and verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and proposals.
Flexibility to work beyond regular business hours when needed.

The Following are Considered Assets:

Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling software, particularly PCSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE suite and WaterCAD.
Familiarity with ArcGIS, GlobalMapper, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D.
Experience developing, calibrating, validating, and interpreting hydraulic and hydrologic models.
Previous experience working with municipalities, utility owners or in engineering consulting.
Knowledge of municipal infrastructure design and construction.
Experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and/or coding.
