Some of what you will do:
The Space Planning Analyst supports the execution of space planning strategies by assisting in the development and maintenance of store layouts and coordination of planogram assignments. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure store layouts are accurate, well-organized, and aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
Specifically, You Will:
Support the development of floor plans in partnership with the Macro Space Planner and Category teams.
Assist in creating and updating store layouts for new stores, renovations, and reflows using AutoCAD, Blue Yonder floor planning and related tools
Work with the Space Planning team to ensure planogram assignments are accurately reflected across store locations.
Support assortment execution by ensuring appropriate space allocation for categories based on store size and format.
Help maintain and update store layouts and space allocation based on business needs.
Work with Manager Space Planning on updating store facing layout portal.
Participate in store visits to gather feedback on layout execution and merchandising effectiveness.
Maintain accuracy of store maps and space planning data on an ongoing basis.
Some of what you need:
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in Space Planning Software, Auto-Cad is preferred.
Macro space planning experience is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
1–2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or space planning preferred.
