- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques

- Load and unload goods

- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods on national and international routes, planning routes and adapting to changing conditions. Inspect and maintain the vehicle, secure and handle cargo, complete transportation records, communicate with dispatch, and address customer concerns.
Requirements
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and experience is an asset. Applicants need an AZ or Class 1/A licence with an air brakes endorsement, a valid passport, and the ability to travel extensively, including across borders; a clean driving record and required security and medical checks are also specified.
