ERP Training Specialist (Contract)
Turn Microsoft D365 processes into clear training that people can use.
LOCATION 9423 Shepard Rd SE | REPORTS TO Business Systems Manager |
TEAM Collaborates with operations, engineering, finance and IT | BUSINESS Business Systems |
Who you are
You know how to turn a business process into learning people can use at work. You bring hands-on ERP experience and build clear manuals, job aids and digital content that make technical steps easier to understand.
At Startec, you’ll develop D365 training content for approximately 200 team members. In-house subject matter experts will deliver the training through a train-the-trainer approach, using the materials you create. Your work will help users adopt new or updated modules and follow documented processes consistently.
You’ll join the Business Systems ERP project and collaborate with project management, engineering, production, aftermarket service, finance and IT. You’ll listen closely, ask practical questions and use feedback to develop and improve the learning materials people rely on.
What you bring
Required credentials and technical experience
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts and hands-on experience with ERP software (Microsoft D365 experience would be preferred).
- Experience designing and delivering training programs, including manuals, job aids and digital learning content.
- Knowledge of business processes and business process improvement, including workflow mapping and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Relevant certificate or education in training content development.
Communication, analysis and working approach
- Analytical skills to interpret data, diagnose user issues and propose practical training or process solutions.
- Clear communication and presentation content development skills that make technical concepts accessible.
- Proven collaboration across operations, engineering, finance and IT, with the ability to manage time and priorities on site and remotely.
An asset: Experience in industrial, energy or manufacturing environments.
Contract and work arrangement
Hybrid role with on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Immediate start, with a contract through the end of May 2027.
