Parts Manager | Steele Recreation

At Steele Recreation, great service starts with great people. We are looking for an experienced Parts Manager who brings strong leadership, a passion for people, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both customers and internal teams. You will lead a department that runs with precision, teamwork, and pride, supporting technicians, advisors, and customers alike.

This role is about more than managing inventory, it’s about building a team, fostering collaboration, and setting a standard of accountability and service excellence. What You Will Do:

Lead, mentor, and develop the Parts Department team, creating a positive and accountable culture
Oversee daily operations of the parts department, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency
Build strong relationships with technicians, service advisors, and customers to ensure parts needs are met quickly and professionally
Manage inventory levels, ordering, and returns to maintain optimal stock while controlling costs
Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery timelines
Monitor department performance, financials, and reporting to drive profitability and continuous improvement
Maintain organized inventory systems and ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Support a customer first environment by resolving issues quickly and professionally

What We Are Looking For:

3+ years of experience as a Parts Manager in a dealership environment preferred
Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and support a team
Deep understanding of parts inventory management and dealership operations
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
A people first mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and customers
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Experience working with dealership management systems and manufacturer parts programs
