Original job description

We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Junior/Intermediate Change Manager to support multiple strategic IT and business transformation initiatives for one of our Lower Mainland clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling user adoption and engagement through thoughtful planning, clear communication, and impactful training. Responsibilities

Develop and execute change management strategies to support project adoption across 2–3 concurrent initiatives
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, end users, and stakeholders to forecast training needs, identify readiness gaps, and manage process triage.
Create clear, user-friendly documentation and performance support tools tailored to various audiences across technical and non-technical teams.
Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and design communication plans to support smooth transitions and minimize resistance to change.
Monitor change adoption metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure long-term project sustainability and employee engagement.
Participate in onsite user training and support activities at key locations, occasionally including onboard marine vessels.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in change management, learning and development, or a related field, ideally within medium-to-large scale transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to interact with end users and operational staff while also supporting technical teams and project leadership.
Strong documentation/written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into simple, actionable steps.
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies and working within a project-driven environment.
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) is preferred but not required.
Willingness and flexibility to travel locally for training and stakeholder engagement

Rate: $45-55 per/hour

12 month contract

Onsite 5 days per week
