SAP Test Specialist

**This is a hybrid role on site in Vancouver, BC, if you are applying from out of Province the expectation is that you will relocate to accommodate the hybrid work schedule for the duration of the contract**

Our client is seeking an SAP Testing Specialist to support a large-scale ERP transformation program, helping ensure the quality, reliability, and readiness of SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise systems. This role will play a key part in planning and executing testing across SAP modules, cloud solutions, and critical integration points, working closely with technical teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong ERP testing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and geographies. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements, establishing consistent testing standards across the ERP transformation program.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and other testing activities across SAP S/4HANA, related cloud solutions, and integrated enterprise systems.
• Coordinate test environments, test data, testing schedules, and cross-functional resources while monitoring progress and ensuring testing activities remain aligned with project timelines and transformation objectives.
• Manage testing and defect lifecycles using tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, Tricentis, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow, including defect tracking, reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, business partners, and testing teams across multiple business units and geographies to develop cohesive end-to-end testing strategies.
• Provide regular testing status updates, test summaries, and quality reporting while identifying potential testing risks, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring solutions meet security, business continuity, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Science, Business, or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of 5 years of progressive ERP testing experience.
• Hands-on experience testing SAP S/4HANA and ECC, with strong functional understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, and HR, and exposure to solutions including Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur.
• Strong expertise in test planning, test case and script development, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and end-to-end integration testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with testing and quality management tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, Tricentis/Tosca, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow, with an understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences and coordinate effectively across business and technology teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to anticipate testing challenges, understand the implications of system integrations and security requirements, and proactively align testing activities with broader business and transformation objectives.

Pay: $80-90 per/hour based on a 37.5 hour work week

On site 3 days per week in Vancouver, BC
