Manager, Strategic Finance

Toronto, Canada | Full-time

We’re looking for a Manager, Strategic Finance to support acquisitions, financing and capital markets activity. Reporting to the VP, FP&A, you’ll work closely with senior finance leaders on financial modelling, due diligence and transaction execution. This is an individual contributor role with direct exposure to executive and board-level decisions.

What you’ll do

Build three-statement, valuation and merger models for potential acquisitions.
Support M&A due diligence and prepare investment memos and board presentations.
Analyse debt financing options, credit agreements and covenant scenarios.
Support equity raises and public markets readiness, including potential up-listing, cross-listing and IPO work.
Prepare investor presentations and quarterly earnings materials.
Work with Legal, Accounting, investment banks and other advisers to execute transactions.

What you’ll bring

5–7 years’ experience, including meaningful time in investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory or private equity.
Direct experience executing M&A transactions.
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with expert-level Excel.
Exposure to debt financing or equity capital markets.
A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and a CPA or CFA designation.
Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP and the ability to produce clear, board-ready materials.

Experience in infrastructure, construction or technology is an advantage. An MBA is also welcome.
