  • Steve Marshall Group | Campbell River Area

Know your parts? Enjoy solving problems and keeping things moving? We want to hear from you.

Steve Marshall Group is looking for a Parts Advisor to join one of our dealerships in the Campbell River area. This is an opportunity to put your automotive knowledge and customer service skills to work in a busy department where your contribution matters every day.

From finding the right component for a technician to helping a customer choose accessories for their vehicle, you’ll connect people with the parts they need. If you’re organized, resourceful, and enjoy being someone your team can count on, this could be your next move.

    What You’ll Do

    • Find the right fit: Identify and source parts and accessories using electronic catalogues, databases, and manufacturer systems.
    • Deliver great service: Assist retail customers, wholesale accounts, technicians, and the sales team with knowledgeable, friendly support.
    • Keep repairs moving: Work closely with the Service Department to coordinate parts availability and communicate order updates.
    • Own the details: Process orders, invoices, and internal repair requests accurately in the dealership management system.
    • Keep inventory in order: Receive, stock, and organize parts; complete cycle counts; and support replenishment.
    • Offer solutions: Explain pricing, availability, and alternative options so customers and technicians can make informed decisions.
    • Follow through: Handle returns, warranty claims, and core returns according to dealership and manufacturer requirements.
    • Showcase what’s available: Maintain parts displays and help promote accessories and specials.
    • Solve problems: Address concerns promptly and professionally, keeping customers and colleagues informed.

    What You Bring

    • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and accessories.
    • Strong computer skills; experience with dealership management systems or electronic parts catalogues is an asset.
    • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
    • Accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • A collaborative attitude and willingness to jump in when the team needs support.
    • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Automotive or Business is an asset.
    • A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.

    Why Steve Marshall Group?

Join an automotive group with dealerships across British Columbia and the United States, while working locally in the Campbell River area. You’ll play a hands-on role in the dealership’s daily success - helping technicians complete repairs, customers find solutions, and the whole team deliver a great experience.

Ready to put your parts knowledge into gear? Apply with your résumé and tell us what you would bring to the team.
