We are currently seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team based in the Firm’s Halifax, NS office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Closing Date: Monday, October 12^th, 2026

The Opportunity:

An integral member of the Firm’s Information Technology Team, the IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for administering, analyzing, and testing various IT technologies and solutions. This role requires a curious, inquisitive, and proactive IT professional who shows initiative and seeks opportunities to expand their area of understanding within the field.

In particular, the IT Systems Analyst will provide administration & support for various systems, applications, and cloud solutions including the Firm’s document management system, and Office 365, as well as create and administer servers in a virtual environment. Additionally, they will manage document security utilizing ethical wall platforms, and will participate in monthly maintenance outside of standard working hours.

The successful candidate will perform analysis and administration of Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services including AD objects, permissions, authorization / authentication, domain controllers, security, DNS and DHCP services, and Group Policy testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.

The IT Systems Analyst will take ownership of system support tickets, and assist in vetting, researching, resolving, or escalating them as appropriate. Using monitoring tools to ensure ongoing health of IT systems, they will act on service-affecting notifications in a timely fashion. This role will also work with vendors on projects deploying and supporting new solutions. Additional responsibilities of the IT Systems Analyst include assisting with IT security-related tasks, client audits and RFPs, as well as various other projects and duties as assigned – all while ensuring adherence to the Firm’s Administrative IT Security Policy and User & Network Security Policy.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Information Technology and 2+ years of experience administering Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, network applications, and virtualized environments, with knowledge of VMware, including Vcenter, VM Lifecycle, ESXi, Snapshots and Vmotion technologies.

The successful candidate is required to work predominantly in-person at our Halifax, NS office during their first couple of months with the Firm. Afterwards, the IT Systems Analyst will be eligible to apply for a flexible working arrangement, which allows for a mix of in-office & remote work options.
