The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of the print manufacturing environment and the ability to move seamlessly between the production floor, customers and senior leadership. Oversee production scheduling, capacity, workflow, quality and on-time delivery.
Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to strengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
Ensure equipment, labour and production resources are being utilized effectively.
Support capital equipment planning and investment decisions.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and business partners.
Ensure quality, safety and operational standards are consistently maintained.
Address production and customer issues quickly and effectively.

Work closely with ownership/senior leadership on business planning and long-term strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience within print manufacturing, with significant experience managing operations.
Strong knowledge of commercial printing and print manufacturing processes.

Experience with production planning, scheduling, estimating, costing and workflow management.
A track record of improving operational performance and driving accountability.
Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
A practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
Strong computer and ERP/MIS systems experience.
